Online Shop closing again

Due to the second lockdown that looks likely to be announced next week, I’ve taken the decision to close the online shop for the period of the lockdown.

During the first lockdown, my local post office was closed throughout, making it much harder for me to post parcels and I would imagine the same will be the case for this second lockdown, so rather than introducing lengthy delivery delays, I’ll close the shop part of the site and work on working through my backlog of items to add them to the site so that there is plenty of new additions for when the shop reopens, which is most likely to be sometime in December.

I apologise for the inconvenience caused by this, but hopefully you can all understand that it is for the best.

A couple of points from the last lockdown that still apply now:

1. If you wish to be informed when the shop reopens, it’s worth temporarily joining my mailing list or following the site on Facebook or Twitter. When the shop becomes available again, I will be informing everyone via these three methods. You can find more details on following the site here.
2. I’ve had a number of requests asking to reserve items ahead of the shop’s reopening. Unfortunately, this is not something I can do as I don’t know when the shop will be available and keeping track of all the reserved items and contacting those people would be a large admin burden. I try to keep things fair for everyone, so for this reason, I will not be taking reservations.. sorry!

All yesterday’s orders will still be posted as normal. See you all in December hopefully!
